I had to be at work today so I made an appointment for Billy for this afternoon but Paul took him earlier as his breathing was worse. They have done some chest xrays which are clear but he has a bad infection in his nose which they say they have never as bad before. It could be linked to his prostrate and they are doing more tests tomorrow. Meanwhile his white cells are high. They have kept him in overnight and I am in tears! Thanks for all your kind words, I'll keep in touch.

terry, i know how worrying it can be, remember though he is in safe hands and they'll look after him.

So sorry to hear Billy is still poorly. I have to admit I am a bit confused about the prostrate/nose link, although if he is anything like my dog Harper the two often make a connection.
They are doing what they can and hopefully tomorrow will come up with a plan of action. You are doing your best for him, you can't do more. Linda x.
Oh Terry (come here, jayney puts arms around Terry for big hug).....the vet and his nurses will all be very nice and they will love your Billy for you........ he will be just fine the vet will make him lots better .......and Billy will be so pleased to see you tomorrow. Sleep well.
